Dog friendly Hangs in Noosa Hinterland

We always want to bring our dog along when we head out for a bite to eat but more often than not dogs just aren’t allowed. Dog does the puppy dog eyes when he gets left behind. Hoomans feel bad. It sucks. So we've endeavoured to hero the venues that do love a dog. Here’s our top picks in no particular order.
Located half way between Eumundi and Yandina in North Arm is Terella Brewery, an outdoor venue that features a cool dog friendly space with a huge grassed area so your dog can sniff and explore. They brew some unique beer, and run a food trucks on site but it does shut by around 6pm so make it a lunch hang if you head that way.
Another one of our fave spots, is Gun Cotton Coffee Roasters at Yandina. Epic coffee, dog friendly and a welcoming crew of staff make it a must stop for breakfast and coffee.
A hidden gem for coffee and a bite to eat is the cafe at Fairhill Nursery in Ninderry. This small café is close by to the hike at Mt Ninderry and serves surprisingly good coffee. Make sure you drop in if you're in the area.
Matso's has arrived in Eumundi and this open air pub is ridiculously dog friendly. Staff will provide the water bowls and all the pats while you enjoy a coldie and something to eat.
If you've rocked up to Eumundi on a Wednesday or a Saturday take a stroll through the Eumundi Markets. Dogs are welcome and they'll enjoy the sights and smells of the markets as much as you do!
A tiny café nestled next to the book store in Eumundi is a top spot to hit up for a caffeine fix. If you’re after something to eat your dog is welcome to sit at your feet on the footpath eating area. A generous water bowl is provided. Busy on market days so keep that in mind.
It's also dog friendly at Alfresco's Cafe on Eumundi Noosa Road. They have a solid menu and it's worth stopping by for breakfast or lunch. Water bowls are provided for your dog.
If visiting Eumundi you can't miss Eumundi Coffee Co. Take your dog inside and sip away while listening to some classic tunes played old school on the record player. We love a strong coffee and recommend Moon Doggy.
A hidden local haunt tucked behind the traffic of Noosa Eumundi Road in Doonan is Flying West. With solid coffee and tasty meals, it's a bonus that this café is dog friendly. Water bowls are provided and most of the staff don’t mind giving your dog a good pat too.
If you're in Noosaville, not only is Land & Sea an ultra-cool venue in the middle of an industrial estate but it was one of the first breweries to allow dogs. Thank you. This modern pub has a tasty menu for the hoomans PLUS a menu for the doggies. Winning. Water bowls and spikes to tie up your pooch are provided. Awesome beer and distillery if you’re into gin. Get around L&S if you’re in the area. Heads of Noosa and The Boiling Pot also allows dogs in the outdoor seating area and you can get a good drop with lunch at these places too.
Any local will know that Peregian is super dog friendly. Water bowls are everywhere you look and there the dog to hooman ratio is high in such a small village. In the main square is Periwinkles. Staff are friendly and your dog can sit at your feet at the outdoor tables while you lunch. They can also be latched in a shaded area if required. Great breaky and also open for lunch and dinner.
Not far from this restaurant is The Captains Daughter and across the road The Peregian Hotel. You can't miss the Peregian Beach Hotel for a pit-stop with your dog. The outdoor area is dog friendly and a great place for a beer and a feed.
Last but not least and a little further afield is Pomona Distilling Co., Your Mates Bowls Club and the Kin Kin Hotel. You can't beat a drive out to these two places for lunch with your dog. Both unique in menu and venue, they are very welcoming of dogs and we highly recommend them!
