Dog friendly Hangs in Noosa Hinterland

Dog friendly Hangs in Noosa Hinterland

We always want to bring our dog along when we head out for a bite to eat but more often than not dogs just aren’t allowed. Dog does the puppy dog eyes when he gets left behind. Hoomans feel bad. It sucks. So we endeavoured to hero the venues that do love a dog. Here’s our top picks.

Located half way between Eumundi and Yandina is Terella Brewery, a relatively new venue that features a cool dog friendly space with a huge grassed area so your dog can sniff and explore. They brew some unique beer, and as they don’t do food on site, they get along a mix of food trucks each week but it does shut by around 6pm so make it a lunch hang if you head that way.

A hidden local haunt tucked behind the traffic of Noosa Eumundi Road in Doonan is Flying West. With solid coffee and tasty meals, it's a bonus that this café is dog friendly. Water bowls are provided and most of the staff don’t mind giving your dog a good pat too.

A tiny café nestled next to the book store in Eumundi is a top spot to hit up for a caffeine fix. If you’re after something to eat your dog is welcome to sit at your feet on the footpath eating area. A generous water bowl is provided. Busy on market days so keep that in mind.

Also in Eumundi you can't miss Eumundi Coffee Co. Take your dog inside and sip away while listening to some epic tunes played old school on the record player. We love a strong coffee and recommend Moon Doggy.

Not only is Land & Sea an ultra-cool venue in the middle of an industrial estate but it was one of the first breweries to allow dogs. Thank you. This modern pub has a tasty menu for the hoomans PLUS a menu for the doggies. Winning. Water bowls and spikes to tie up your pooch are provided. Awesome beer and distillery if you’re into gin. Get around L&S if you’re in the area.

Any local will know that Peregian is super dog friendly. Water bowls are everywhere you look and in such a small village. In the main square is Periwinkles. Staff are friendly and your dog can sit at your feet at the outdoor tables while you lunch. They can also be latched in a shaded area if required. Great breaky and also open for lunch and dinner.

Not far from this restaurant is The Captains Daughter and across the road The Peregian Hotel. All dog friendly haunts that we frequent.

Last but not least, and one of our new fave spots, is Gun Cotton Coffee Roasters at Yandina. Epic coffee, dog friendly and a welcoming crew of staff make it a must stop for breakfast and coffee.
